Reading do love their late goals - we scored in the 98th minute to snatch victory against Preston, who started the day 3rd. That keeps up our good record against them. That now moves us ahead of Boro.

Orient have won their 3rd game in a row, which makes the table much better reading for us now as we're juat 2 points from the play-offs. Former Plymouth boss Carl Fletcher is now our manager - ironically, our next game is away at Plymouth!

Had forgotten Tranmere were playing Southend on Friday evening. It should have been a good chance for  a second win in a row, but it was only a 1 - 1 draw.  Tranmere are 18th now. Pleased with our local Rugby team Caldy in National 2 North. P7, W7.

Liverpool left it too late to win but maintain unbeaten start to the season.

Not that I follow the fortunes of Morecambe (but my builder does!) and to put Car Expert's  mind at rest, I noted from the regional news (Granada Reports) last night that Morecambe had won at the weekend.
