I got an unpleasant surprise when I tried to buy my usual style of jeans a few months ago, after about two years of not buying any - it seems no one is doing mid-rise waists any more, only high waists. And the fashion is STILL for slim trouser legs, how long has that been the only thing available, 15 years or so? Ugh. I really am going to learn to sew my own clothes.

Look in the men's department. Their jeans are often better cut,  tougher, have more pockets and are often  also cheaper.

106 items of cello sheet music down to 80. :winterAngel:  Piano music also done. Flute music tomorrow. This is fun, and I'm finding out what I have. :)

I'm planning to clear out my music drawers. There's a lot of stuff in them which is printed from IMSLP that can be colouring paper. Any violin music will go to the girls up the road. Ditto easy piano music. Sax music not sure, and I'll thin the choir stuff. Anything I keep us going upstairs, and the drawers are going to get upcycled by a local special school. All I have to do is get started....

I have thrown away music! Eek. I'm not really sure how I feel about that. I had aural books from way back which are completely out of date, plus a lot of thirties piano music which I inherited from my son's sax teacher. No one would want any of it so it is gone in the recycling. I'm on a roll now. I've easily shrink what I'm keeping to a quarter of what it was.

Oh the cds! They're all Mr Banj's apart from my barbershop ones. He hasn't listened to any for years as he has everything on the computer, but he's not quite brave enough to bin them all yet.
