Hi
I’m putting together my programme for my flute ARSM. I’m doing Suite Antique (Rutter) and 2 Telemann fantasies. Looking at length of YouTube videos of the pieces, I think it should last around 26 minutes. Is this long enough?

You are allowed a break of up to 3 minutes. A total duration of 29 minutes should be good.

As well as this 3-minute break, don't forget there will be a natural 20-30 second gap between pieces too. I feel it is better to be under than over as the breaks and gaps usually take more time than anticipated

Best of luck with your ARSM preparation.
Do time yourself, rather than relying on Youtube video / CD etc, as we all play differently.

At the moment, I’m using videos just as a guide. It’s all a work in progress. Especially as I’m having to have online lessons and not able to play with an accompaniment.
But I think I should be ok with the pieces I’ve chosen time wise.
