Are there any books containing what I can only call organ "fanfares" to intoduce hymns? Especially Christmas ones (at this time of year). I'm thinking things like Ralph Vaughn Williams' wonderful intro for Old 100th - something like that. Not too long but can be realised fairly easily on the organ and making heavy use of reeds etc.

I'm in a particular urgent need for one for "O Come All Ye Faithful" in the coming week or two.

Any suggestions gratefully received. I'd have a stab at composing my own but am a bit short of time (and ability).

Some years ago I made an organ only version of David Hill’s Fanfare to OCAYF from the brass parts at https://www.musicroo...s-ensemble.aspx
The original brass version can be heard at:

We’ve used it for several years successfully at our school carol service.
