Raymond Leppard has died aged 92, more info here.   RIP to a wonderful musician

A long life of a man who brought  music to very many people.I am sure he will be remembered. RIP

I know that some of my earliest LPs had him conducting (so around 1970?)

I know that some of my earliest LPs had him conducting (so around 1970?)

 

He made numerous recordings with the English Chamber Orchestra and others during the 1960s, and frequently conducted the ECO's predecessor (The Goldsbrough Orchestra) during the 1950s, although I don't know of any recordings he made with the latter.
