The leaves are coming out on one of the large trees which will fortunately help to obscure my perfect view of a building site across the road!

I am fairly useless when it comes to bird identification, but there's been a call from the surrounding woods that I also noticed last spring and summer. Finally identified it as Hoopoe! Such a pretty bird, though I doubt if I'll actually see one.
