Piano practice, and remembering that my teacher said yesterday that I was too hard on myself.  It gives me hope!

Seeing a Very Nice Photographer about a wedding.

Pleasing.

Mole and I are celebrating by eating scrambled egg, smoked salmon and toasted rolls all washed down by Prosecco, cherry cordial and amaretto :) :) :)

Having a reply to my email to the Crumble Song lady in response to a request from a student of mine who apparently needs to learn it in order to take his place in society. He will be so pleased.

Being told by a musician whose opinon I respect that in my last public performance I had, for the first time, had stage presence and come across as being confident and assured.

Spending the morning with a former colleague whom I hadn't seen for a year, and who has suffered similar treatment as me at Horrid School.   He is getting out now and says he feels a great weight has been lifted :).

Spending a lovely afternoon in the garden with Bag and Mole, while Wonderful Cleaning Lady took in my Sainsbury's order AND put it all away for me.   Heaven!!

A benign meningioma.

Essentially, if you had to pick a type of brain tumour to have, it's the one you'd choose.  And it's what I've got!

Future discussion will take place with a radiologist about whether to treat now or monitor and treat later if necessary (there are good arguments either way) - but it's all suddenly gone very relaxed and non-urgent (growth being ~1mm per year).

I'm really looking forward to a good night's sleep tonight...the 27 days since the 'you have a brain tumour' phone call have been somewhat intense!

What wonderful news, Maizie - so happy and relieved for you :-)
How about buying that great bass recorder to celebrate? You know it keeps
