Louise - this is awesome. I have scoured the internet for these. Thank you so much.

If you don't want to type in the rest I think you can add a link to a flickr picture (is that right? I don't have a web photo account, but I have seen other forumites link to images) so you could take a picture if you'd prefer. Either way, thank you so much. It has really bugged me not compiling the complete data set.

Thanks Owain, you have saved me the job of typing up 1981-2!

This was the syllabus with which I started my own violin journey. Took grades 1, 2 and 4 from 81-82. Memories!

So I think it's just 1997 and 2001 grade 8 and 1991 all grades to fill in the blanks of the main series, plus 2005 groupings. Then I will tidy up the data a bit, as it is inconsistent in layout. And of course add any older stuff that turns up.

Thank you Louise.  I am also excited to see this come together. It is close to a complete record of the main syllabus options for the past 44 years (to 1971 syllabus) plus the few older records (though of course, I'll just keep searching for older and older data to fill *those* blanks and the alternatives for the records I have).  It is taking a long time to fill in these blanks, but your, and Owain's contributions have really helped.

@Owain.  Can I just check there was no grade 8 for the 1955/56 syllabus.

It's not listed there, no - I assume because it didn't have a dedicated volume, and so was only listed in the separate syllabus.

Quick update after adding in the data from Louise and Owain.

Apart from a few gaps (see below) there is now a complete data set from 1971 to 2015.

Gaps:-

2001-2004 grades 8
1991-1992 grades 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8

2005-2007 No group information for grades 1, 6, but I have the names of the pieces.

Prior to 1971/72 syllabus there are data for:-

1965-1966 all

1963-1964 all

1961-1962 grades 1-7

1959-1960 grades 1-7

1955-1956 grades 1-7

So to fill the gaps

I'm looking for:-
2001-2004 grades 8
1991-1992 grades 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8
1967-1970 I have nothing for these years.

Anything else.

Would like
2005-2007 group information for grades 1, 6,

If anyone has data for Trinity, I've been collecting that too, but with much less success.
