We celebrate German/Swiss Christmas Eve Bescherung too. Our even-more-alien neighbours are Orthodox Christians and presents are given on 6th January.

There is not a drop of German blood in my family but for some reason, we have always done a Christmas Eve dinner.

Do any other aliens feel pangs of homesickness if they read the recent posts on the Pendants' Paradise Thread. About here.  Any Northamptonshire aliens around? It all made me think of Air Ada. I'd almost forgotten about it and I can only find it on Facebook. I don't think I've heard it spoken for sixty years.  Sad innit.
