I'd say Kiesche.

Cos I'd have a Cluckerbutty containing Bakon-Rasche, Sosij and Chiesa, but I wouldn't put Kiesche in a butty...

Actually the only one which is a genuine composer is Oliphant Chuckerbutty (You will find him on Wikipedia), the others are figments of my imagination. (Anyone heard of an American pianist called Lou Cheyne ?)

Well, I am sure I've heard of Sosij before - so maybe if not a real composer, not original either ??? tongue.gif

I thought that might have been the answer - I'd heard of Chuckerbutty before, but Bakon-Rasche just sounded a bit too good to be true tongue.gif

Here is his Wiki entry

http://en.wikipedia....nt_chuckerbutty

Mainly organ music. Some of his works were listed on the back of my score for the 'Easter Alleluia' piece I played at the Leeds 'do' last week.

Easy!!! Julius Schmidt because he's the only one I've never heard of rolleyes.gif

I'm sure that can't be the real right answer

No that not right. !

Oops sorry, I put the wrong name in ph34r.gif ph34r.gif ph34r.gif

It should have been Josef W Stern , not Julius Schmidt.

So its Alban Berg, Edward Elgar, Josef W Stern, Frederick Delius, and Gustav Holst

They are all musicians.

Elgar, because he was English? All the others were German or of German extraction.

I seem to recall that Elgar, Holst and Delius all died in 1934. I have a feeling that Berg outlived the three of them. Never heard of the other chap. So I will guess that Berg is the odd one out because the others all died in the same year?

That was CHUCKLEbutty ... but an easy mistake to make if you are not well versed in matters tattyfilarious.
