Yes, as this topic was about pieces with a girl's name in the title.
oh then I obviously did not read the topic title and no my piece does not have a title. I just made it up as I like making tunes up and I have done it in the past but I think this one is nicer. I posted it for some feedback because I am learning and any feedback is helpful

Seeing this topic again suddenly made me think of 'Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair'. Stephen Foster wrote it and it was published in 1854. Jascha Heifetz made an arrangement for the violin. If you are to have 'oldies' in your audience, I'll bet a couple of them will enjoy it.

I did like it.
However, it has just occurred to me that to compose properly you should include dynamics. What you heard is by no means complete and I have added a lot more to it. I have completed section 1 (first movement), more or less done the second movement but may expand on that a little and have some ideas for the third movement. When all three movements are done, then I will go back and tweak it and put in dynamics to bring it alive more
I still cannot think what to name the piece

You'd better be calling it Daphne or Mabel or some such, otherwise how did it end up in this thread!!
