I do like to hear of Liverpool FC winning their matches. However I am very pleased that they have not been allowed to trade mark the name of Liverpool which belongs to the city and all that live there or have come from that area.

Both my teams scored a late equaliser, but both still in the bottom 5.

A 4-1 defeat in the end - at least we kept up our record of scoring a late goal...

Here's a good stat - the last two Fulham managers to win away at Reading (Keegan and Hodgdson) were also England matches. So that means Scott Parker will become a future England manager. You heard it here first!

Spurs were given another humiliation, this time by Bayern Munich - 2-7...

Another home defeat for Tranmere.  :( . They must pick up some points soon, hovering above the drop zone !

Reading now drop into the relegation zone after another defeat, and Huddersfield have now won 2 in a row to climb out. Orient did win, though - still 20th, but 1 point closer to the play-offs than the drop zone.

Well yesterday I was thinking that Liverpool are winning by the skin of their teeth but seeing the  fortunes of the Manchester teams today I am a little happier. What are the chances of Man Utd looking for a new manager before the end of the year ?

Reading are now looking for a new manager. Solksjaer to Reading? Actually, maybe not... Jaap Stam didn't work out...

2 league wins in a row for Orient!

Nice to see Puscas scored a goal for Romania - hopefully he will start scoring again for Reading - he hasn't scored for us since those 3 goals against Cardiff and Wycombe in August...

I hope I haven't put a jinx on them as I usually predict them to go down, and this season I didn't...;)

So Reading have appointed Mark Bowen (former sporting director) as manager, a man who has been an assistant to Mark Hughes at many clubs. Yes, this is a very uninspiring appointment, but then we seem to do better with lesser known managers - take Brian McDermott as a good example...

Still no news on the Leyton Orient managerial situation...
