Am I correct in thinking the Eric Taylor Music Theory in Practice books haven't been revised since the new changes to theory exams were introduced?  The latest editions I can find online are from 2008 so I'm assuming they are the current ones?

I read on ABRSM's website that the changes to Grade 5 include the removal of rhythm-writing, melody-writing, word-setting questions and short/open score so I'm guessing it's fine to skip these chapters in the book now.  What have they been replaced with as I haven't yet seen a revised Grade 5 theory paper?

They have been replaced with more extract questions, including multiple guess questions on terms. It is so much easier now. Quicker to prepare students for too.
