Hi all,

so I recently passed my Grade 2, and very please to do so.

Now, I'm really in no rush to jump onto Grade 3. Grades are meaningless to me if the ability isn't there behind it so i'm keen to spend next year as grade 2 and being as I really don't like the grade 3 pieces i'm thinking of waiting for the next book to come out in '21

In the meantime i'm moving over to Jazz, and hoping to do my Jazz grade 1 at some point toward the end of the year. Also, i'm intending to work through my Theory and hopefully try to get grade 1 & 2 out the way.

Now. I'm after a chord progression sheet - does anyone know of any?

I'd like it to show music notation (rather than an image of the keyboard)

I just can't seem to find anything, I'd like just a poster showing, root, 1st inv, 2nd inv. etc etc.

anyone able to point me in the right direction?

You didn't tell us what instrument you are learning but there are charts on this website https://alliancemusi...e-chord-charts/

Ah piano, but think we're thinking of different things.

I want something like this, but showing dim,sus 7th etc. too.

But for all chords ideally.

I've not come across any charts like you describe, but there are books/sites that give help on chords, eg:

https://www.pianogro...ons/7th-chords/

There are some downloadable chord charts on this site but I haven't looked at them.

Never even heard of some of those! Feeling very ignorant. I wonder how they are used - the less usual ones I mean. I'm sure I will have played them in the pieces I have learned, but wouldn't havce realisd they were a recognised chord.
