I got my proper account back!

Fantatsic!  Did you keep the new one too?  Can you have arguments with yourself, or congratulate yourself on account restoration?!

I do still have the other one but I'm going to stick with this one... if I argue with myself here I'll probably get banned again, and this time it would be justified!!

However I won't be reporting any more spam, unfortunately I don't trust the process not to go wrong again.

A wonderful walk along an almost totatly deserted river estuary. Sea birds, driftwood, and the occasional dog walker.

Had picinc lunch sitting on a sand dune. Magic.

Playing duets with my harp teacher.

You've made a wave of past happiness wash over me. I loved playing duets with my recorder teacher. Sometimes she'd play the piano but mostly she played recorder. It was so much fun. We played Christmas carols through December even though she must have been sick of them as she also played carols in other contexts (and not on the recorder).

Anyway, the happy here has to be that we have floors. We're more or less finished inside the house. In fact, it's now a normal house with just odd little things that need to be done - as any house has. The Barn is a different question though but we can close all the doors on that one now they're fitted! And walk away from it.

Painted an elderly lady's loo primrose yellow (as a makeover surprise for a laugh - she didn't know what colour she was getting) - we've called it the Primrose Privvy. :)

Granddaughters (3) came with their Mum and Dad for lunch at short notice. I popped out to M&S Food for a couple of extra things this morning, which include those little cocktail sausages. I burst out laughing when I noticed M&S now call them  'Dinky Posh Dogs' !!

I love primrose. It's so cheerful. And it doesn't shout. We had a primrose spare room at the last house and the kitchen here is primrose. I'm sure will love her new loo!

Aww, a wave of past happiness, what a lovely expression.

Congratulations on finishing the house! You can now walk away from the Barn on the new floors!

I reached the halfway stage of getting rid of the backlog of washing after the(now mended)  washing machine broke down. Even halfway is cause for happiness!!! I'll be delirious  when I actually get to the end!

Unblocked my sink yesterday. 40 years' worth of fatberg (and possibly some injudicious use of sodium hydroxide which might have made everything worse).

Stripped and cleaned all the u-bends, washing machine outlet, etc and used a wire coat-hanger to hook back inside all the stuff that had got as far as the outside pipe.

I couldn't believe how much there was. I wish I had kept it and weighed it.

Enjoy your suppers!
