Ooh goody we are a goal up after 3 mins against high flying Wycombe in the Cup. Bet it doesnt last long !

Reading beat Millwall to put distance between ourselves and Boro who are third bottom.
Not so good for Orient, who lost at Morecambe (good for my prediction though ). Unusually, our next four games are all at home, so our next away game is not until the 7th December - that's unless Maldon & Tiptree force a replay of course.

I missed this post on Saturday and only learnt tonight of Morecambe's success against Orient. Presumably there will be plenty of jam (or should I say conserve ) available the match with Tiptree ???

It'll certainly taste nicer if we win tomorrow!

Morecambe lost away to Blackpool in the FA cup. It can only be this thread that persuades me to follow their fortunes. We  had our local piano meetup this afternoon just half a mile from Morecambe's Globe stadium but being away they weren't there anyway !

Morecambe may be out, but their former manager is still in the Cup after his Fylde team beat Nantwich.

Looks like Orient are back to square 1 as the Maldon & Tiptree defeat has cost Carl Fletcher his job. He only lasted a month, and failed to win a single game.

The giant that is Adebayo Akinfenwa is still going strong!

Of course if you do beat Wycombe, you'll go from playing the highest ranked team to playing the lowest! Also, Chichester were due to play East Grinstead on that weekend, who are currently bottom of their league.

I won't mention the Leyton Orient result yesterday...
