Join us for an event designed to introduce pianists to the harpsichord. No prior experience of the instrument required. There is a workshop for younger musicians and a more advanced class that is suitable for higher grades and adult pianists. [Event Info]

I'd love to ... but I get the feeling with things like that that the adults are all meant to be good, and I'd be too rubbish in comparison while everyone else is producing fluent performances of Scarlatti and Bach ...

The wording of the ad doesn't help in this instance. It divides the groups into younger musicians and higher grades/adults.

Younger  musicians could be advanced and adults could be at lower grades.
