With only a couple of weeks to go here are a few last minute bits of information.
The Concert is in the church which may be several degrees cooler than outside summer heat if we still have it so do bring a cardigan or something similar (and maybe consider legs/feet).
Non pianists bring a stand if you are able. Don't worry if you are on public transport and it's too heavy or bulky as if others bring one there will be enough.
There is a big car park behind the church and you need to ring the bell which is to the left of the church door to be let into the building.
My number and Katyjay's are on the concert web site (see first post on this thread) in case you have any problems on the day. Katyjay has kindly agreed to be the contact person for station pick up if needed. If you post on here expected arrival time maybe it will be possible to coordinate that.
Remember your packed lunch though there is a Tesco store and Stalybridge town centre less a mile away.
If you don't live too far away and would like to contribute some home baking for refreshments I'm sure everybody will be grateful.
The meal afterwards will be at Wetherspoons which is about half a mile from the station.
Don't forget your instrument and music. You should have originals with you. Do bring the original of the accompaniment too even if your accompanist prefers to play from the copy.
Last (I think) but not least don't forget that we are there to enjoy and share our music wherever we are on our musical journey.
Any questions please ask.
