Have the diploma results for the session before Christmas started arriving yet?

I had my exam on 10 December and haven't heard anything yet.

Yeah, they're due anytime from now on. in my experience, anything between about 7 and 12 weeks. My last lot took 12 weeks.

I am still waiting for my student's result from early December. Does any one have any idea what they are doing for all this time? There is after all no recording, so there can't be a lot of rethinking going on! Does it seem right? A-levels need to be read, and then can be moderated, but they don't need anything like so long. I asked ABRSM to explain, but received no answer (so far).

I'm waiting for a pupil's result too - it should be anytime now, I think! Fingers crossed  :)

Some diplomas are recorded, so could it be that all diplomas from the same examiner are held in a batch while recordings are checked? I believe the checking is done by a specialist in the instrument concerned, who may not be available for weeks at a time if on a foreign tour. Could that be the reason?
