Meanwhile, the lambs were not to be outdone. (Sorry this poem is off a birthday card and not original like yours).
Mary had a little lamb,
She tied it to a pylon,
10,000 volts shot up its er nose,
And turned its wool to nylon.

Reminds me of the Pussy song:
Ding Dong Dell
Pussy's down the well.
She's been there for over a year,
No wonder the water tastes so queer.

"Of course we must have "Sheep and Shepherds", she ruminated, "the original words of course, not corrupted by the silly humans".
Sheep and Shepherds come away,
In the Groves let's sport and play,
For this, this is Floras Holy day.
Sacred to ease and happy Love,
to Dancing, to Musick, and to Poetry:
We Flocks may now securely rove,
whilst we express our Jollity.
(All applaud loudly).
"Now what else could we have? Obviously, Sheep may Safely Graze, now how does it go:
Schafe k?nnen sicher weiden,
Sheep can safely graze,
Wo ein guter Hirte wacht,
Where a good shepherd keeps watch..."

Meanwhile, the lambs had formed a little huddle to come up with some songs for the junior spot in the concert.
These included such items as "If you're woolly and you know it stamp your hooves" and "How thick is that doggy in the window".
