I’ve been playing for a few years now with no issues over the break. I’ve recently started squeaking on mainly the D over the break. I’ve had the instrument checked and cannot find any issues there.

I have to admit that I haven’t been able to practice much recently. Could this be a cause as very frustrating!!

Is the reed dry or moist?

 

Are you biting on the mouthpiece or not? If a professional evaluation did not reveal anything that would be concerning, I'd recommend increasing practice to see if this will help. What type of clarinet do you use?

Ah, it could be biting down. I will observe closely what I’m doing next practice, and yes will definitely up the practice and hope this makes a difference!!
