I'm not too fond of cats this morning after mine woke me up throwing up in the bedroom at 04:45. She's been attention seeking at 20 min intervals since then. Bye bye lie-in.

Ok little Dixi cat. I have forgiven your attention seeking this morning. Please come in now it is cold and dark and I want you in before I go to bed.

I've searched the garden, called her, rattled her food etc but she went out at about 8 when I was in the bath and I haven't seen her since.

That was me last week - she came back in the middle of the night very hungry and muddy and slept all of the next day. Must have had an Adventure. Hope she comes back soon. Who knows where they go...

She's just come in and told me off loudly. I hope the gps collars come down in size/price. I would love to know how far she goes.

Anyone who likes cats should really listen to Songs of the Cats by Garrison Keillor and Frederica von Stade! The In and Out one just kills us every time. And Hallelujah I'm a Cat....And all the rest. Perfect present for musical cat lover. My daughter heard the The Cat came Back one of these on the radio when she was nearly 2 and insisted we find the CD which was very hard at that time but easier now. Its still a favourite in the car.

Fabulous! biggrin.gif I'm listening to Cat, You Better Come on Home now. I knew absolutely nothing about Garrison Keillor other than as the author of Lake Wobegon Days blush.gif

Now hunting out the CD for husband for Christmas biggrin.gif

I'm beginning to think something spooked her last night. I've had a furry shadow all day today. She even tried attaching herself to my leg with claws earlier so I couldn't get up ( rather painful as I was wearing leggings). Oh well bit of TLC and I'm sure she'll be back to normal soon.

Found it on amazon and have ordered it for my partner for Christmas.

Not happy about Theo. He will have his stitches out in three days time and I will have a word with the vet. He remains lethargic and pot bellied though he has been wormed and is still putting on weight.

Not sure if this should be on this thread, or on the 'misreading topic titles' one. I decided that the cat-people on here would probably connect ...

I keep seeing the 'how to get a pupil to relax' title, and imagining something like
"How to get a cat to take a pill'.

(if you haven't seen this one, google it).

Aquarelle, I hope Theo picks up soon. Is it possible he has the remains of something unsuitable, that he ate while living wild, still hanging around in his gut?

Thanks maggiemay. I hadn't thought of that one. I'll mention it to the vet on Thursday.

Yes, Hope it's a positive visit & that Dixi cat regains her spirits soon.

We had guests yesterday & both cats were in "showing off" mode! laugh.gif

Dixi conned me into thinking she was really ill today so I booked a vet trip. She made a miracle recovery at the sight of the cat box. Vet reckons she has the tail end of a bug but as it took 2 of us to hold her to get a temperature she is back to normal.
