From t'other side of the pond -

Across the sea and beyond,

Comes our Australian -

(Not quite an alien),

Bearing a gum-tree frond.

But a gum-tree frond she can't play,

So even though she's far away

We still hear the din

From her violin

When she isn't having a good day.

(Sorry, OA!)

Ha ha, very true! Wasn't appreciated today. I have one about Misterioso if no-one else wants to have a go.

I do actually often bear gum-tree "fronds" -- picking them up after the cockatoos!

That wee fair lass from the Isles
Must have pupils who travel for miles
Do they island hop?
Come from bottom or top
Of Lewis, to learn various styles?

Her qualifications are good
She does all that a good teacher should
Sounds lovely and kind
But soon speaks her mind
Would you like her as teacher? I would!

Gee, do I have to write one about myself? :(

:)

You know I'm an Aussie true blue
But great grandpa, who I never knew
Was born Cassell Rock
but of Limerick stock
And what I just told you is true

You think that explains my quick wit?
(If you judge that description may fit)
But Mum was adopted
That Nan was co-opted
So there goes that idea... :)
