Just got my trinity results. 3 merits and a distinction. The one who I thought would scrape a pass got a merit, and the 12 year old who has only been learning for 18 months got a distinction at grade 5! Very happy!

Super results on here - well done pupils and teachers alike!

 

My little Prep Test pupils did well today, and the examiner was the friendliest, most cheerful, encouraging and reassuring I have ever met.  (All the prep test comments were very similar on all three certificates though!)  I just hope he was as enthusiastic when marking my grade 5 pupil

Really !!! Wow - I've always known Trinity to be quicker (two of my students siblings who took Trinity violin exams on Sunday have already got their marksheets and certificates) - but I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy result!

Really !!! Wow - I've always known Trinity to be quicker (two of my students siblings who took Trinity violin exams on Sunday have already got their marksheets and certificates) - but I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy result!

 

 

My understanding was that Trinity results were quicker because they aren't processed through HQ - they go from the examiner, to the rep, to us.  Previously I've had them as soon as two days later!  But now our "local" rep lives hundred of miles away, it's essentially the same process as going via HQ (i.e. sent to her, sent back out to us).    So my recent experience has been AB results getting quicker (maybe 10 days or so), and Trinity taking almost 2 weeks, up from 2 days!

Just found mine online (no email) - Distinctions for Grades 3 and 4 and a Merit for my 11 year old Grade 5 girl, who took Grade 3 last November and decided to skip Grade 4. Very happy!
