Chilly, was only 2.7 deg C on my garden weather station when I went out for newspaper at 8.30. But sky is fairly clear with occasional sunny spells and temp has reached 5.4 deg C. Forecast max 7 deg C. Pressure still quite low at 990.5 mB.  Milder tomorrow.

Big thunderstorm and a short power cut, just long enough that everything turned off. My computer was very traumatised and took ages to come back on. The washing on the line is wet for the third time.

Nice sunny spring morning. Blue sky with a few fluffy clouds. Comfortably warm.

Not a nice day. Rained on and off this morning, and still there's a few drops from time to time. But the temperature has not reached double figures.  Max was 9.9 deg about half an hour ago and now its falling again. Pressure falling, 988.8mB

Later edit at 18.04 - Actually it has now gone back up to 10 deg C, having fallen to 9.7 deg C

I've been missing this thread so thought I would just say that the heatwave here is well over. Temperatures are back to normal and it is even a bit on the fresh side.

We have  had a little rain but not enough so they are watering the maize.

Slightly cooler here too after a violent thunderstorm early this morning. All my balcony plants were swimming for their lives when I went out to check on them.
