She was obviously just after a job as a cow-pilot.

By the way, I thought the drone comment was a reference to Gatwick being closed for several days before Christmas because of one.

It was - but it seems to have grown legs. smile.png

And wings! With little yellow and black stripes too, and buzzy sounds.

Fed up. I have a disc problem in my back, and it's suddenly flared up, colouring my whole week with heaps of pain.sad.png

Thinking of you, Misterioso; back problems, and discs, are awful. Hoping that you are managing to rest it enough, and that the pain is getting less.

Complete #FirstWorldProblem.

Get up.  Go downstairs.  Give Slinky-cat her morning cat milk.  Go back upstairs.  Faff about, get dressed, etc.  Go back downstairs.  Put washing on, empty dishwasher, faff about, etc.  Look at clock to see if 30 minutes have passed since I took my 'no food, drink or other medicine for 30mins after taking this one' medicine.  Realise I didn't actually take it.  Take tablet.  Look mournfully at breakfast for 30 minutes :(  At least I hadn't gone so far as to put the milk on the cereal :D

I started a new assignment today for my employer in a much further away office.

I booked a taxi for 15:45 to take me to the train station. Driver was 5 mins late so I missed the fast train by about 90 seconds and will have to take the slow one at 16:16.

I'll book for 15:40 tomorrow. This delay is going to add 30-35 minutes onto my journey home.

There was a dead bird in the garden and I put it in the bin - the flies must have got to it first.

Mine often is and the outside dustbin very often is. We live next to a farm and we get the flies that have been sitting on the cows.. I have found the best answer is ash. I have a garden incinerator in which I burn garden rubbish and any paper that may have confidential information on it. So I have a constant supply of ash. When it is cold i sprinkle it in the dustbins. That discourages files. This week my outside dustbin was full of maggots as I had forgotten to put in ash. So I poured a good deal of ash over them and on the sides of the plastic liner bag and they soon stopped wriggling!

rofl.gif  I was going to suggest that zwhe might like to use the maggots for a fishing expedition.

We used to have maggots in school for experiments about light/dark and damp/dry conditions.  Sometimes for charity, we'd have some brave soul borrow the maggots (when we had done with them) and sit with her hand in the maggot container - she was sponsored to last the 20 minutes of break time.  rolleyes.gif  Such fun!

Credit card stopped due to fraudulent activity on our account. sad.png

Now we have to wait 7-10 days for new cards. We are not a family with multiple cards, so it is mega frustrating having to pay for everything in cash and to be inconvenienced because someone else is making fraudulent use of our card. angry.png

Hats off to the bank, though, for spotting the suspect activity.
