Anyone else taken the plunge and entered for an exam this session?

I've entered for grade 5 violin (eek!)

Would love to hear how others are getting on :)

I'm doing grade 5 theory this time - hopefully not so nerve wracking as the practical exams!

I'm in same boat with aural. I bought books CD's etc to practice with a few weeks ago then caught the flu and lost my voice so only just recovered enough to practice the sight singing (my worst bit) I think I got every app available to practice with too hehe.

Good luck both ! :)

I've gotten my confirmation for Grade 8 recorder this session. I just started playing last year, and this is my first practical exam, so a bit uncertain about what to expect. I hope it'll be easy!

I'm doing Grade 5 theory 3rd November, arrive back from holiday in Madeira around 10 PM Monday night and take the exam on Tuesday morning. Just unlucky with the timing...

I've entered Grade 1 Piano. Exam is at the end of November. Never taken an exam before so a bit apprehensive particularly as I get so nervous and 'all thumbs' when playing in front of people! Up for the challenge though!

Yes really bad timing!

I knew the exam would be in November but thought " There's 30 days in November what are the chances the exam will be on the first Monday or Tuesday of the month?"

Anyway I'll take past exam papers with me and revise by the pool.
