There is now a new Facebook group for string teachers and players.
It is called String Network UK

A couple of us on piano network realised a similar one for string teachers and players was needed. So we started one up.

I am  a regular on Piano Network, but I will joinstrings as well as my wife and daughter are both violinists, and I have played quite a bit of violin/piano repertoire . I am also  a lapsed 'cellist

It's definitely there - however it didn't come up in my search until I clicked the 'groups' tab along the top of the search results page.

I already posted this message in the Viva Harp Forum. I am even more sad to find Just Helen's message at this subforum too.

 

Just for the folks who don't follow the harp forum at this abrsm-site, I will repost my original messag of the Viva Harp Forum below:

 

Why would people start new groups when there are already fine functioning groups on the subject? Such a pity to find  information scattered all over the place. I can't imagine people still being active on Facebook and even wanting to intensify their actions there after all the breaches of privacy and the ongoing failure of taking down fake news. sad.png sad.png sad.png

People have differing views, which I accept.
But if there are some who see this notice and would like to join then that’s great!
