The London Piano Meetup Group meet several times each month at different venues in London for informal performance opportunities - we also welcome instrumentalists as we have many pianists that are keen to improve their accompanying skills. All levels encouraged, particularly beginners and intermediate players.

Likewise Car Expert can you add ours to the list in Wiltshire, Marlborough Concert Orchestra

https://sites.google.../site/mcoorguk/

You can also use our Facebook page.

https://www.facebook...rchestra?ref=hl

And we are recruiting..2nd Oboe, French Horns, Violas..This is a good orchestra conducted by a former LPO member..The wealth of experience he brings is astounding and frankly very useful. Grade 5-6 should cover rank and file strings..section leaders need to be a little more capable.

Contact us via our secretary on our website or via FB equally you can message me directly and I can hand on your details to the recruiters. Thank you

Hello All,

We are a London piano group. We meet once a month to play on a grand piano in a hired rehearsal room for about 2 hours. We share costs which are not more than £5 per person per event.

The group is open to pianists at intermediate level and above. Broadly speaking, this is anywhere from about grade 6 up to diploma. All genres are played - classical, jazz, blues, film themes, improvisations as well as ABRSM grade pieces.

For more information, go to     http://www.meetup.com/Music-Meetups/    In particular, please look at past events to see what pieces were played.

The last event was on Saturday January 31st in Wimbledon. The next event is on Saturday February 28th at Peregrine's Pianos in central London.

We are an adult group but children over 12 are welcome if they have a good pass at grade 6 and are accompanied by an adult (teacher or parent).

Can this group be entered on the list of playing opportunities please?

Regards

Mike

I didn't mention a specific location in London. Suggest "Wimbledon" since we have played there the most.

The London Piano Club meets once a month to play on a grand piano in a rehearsal room. it has been active for about a year and is for pianists at intermediate level and above. Costs are shared and amount to about £ 5 per person per event. The next event is at Peregrine's Pianos in central London on February 28. The group is publicised on the following meetup site:

Can you please add Inverurie Wind Band.

We are based in Inverurie Aberdeenshire we are an inclusive community band and have players from no grades to grade 8 and beyond.

Inverurie Wind band extends a welcome to all woodwind, brass and percussion players and at the moment we need flutes and brass most of all. Please come and join us!

Rehearsals are on  Monday or Wednesday, please check our FaceBook page for the latest rehearsal times.

Hi all,

I'm arranging Piano Events in central London again but I would really like to get some lower grades involved as people have progressed so much over the past few years that we don't get to hear any of the early grade repertoire anymore! We need to mix it up a little!

Adult (18+) Pianists at grades 1-5 are especially welcome to PM me to find out more. Very informal, supportive performance opportunities with plenty of piano time if you can use it. :) Every 3 months or so on a Saturday.
