As some of you may know, I took part in a Musical Theatre masterclass last weekend, which was absolutely fascinating
One of the other participants sang a song that made me go "WOW! I want to sing that!" but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to talk to her afterwards to get details of the music.
Anyway, a bit of Googling came up with the answer that the song was "The Last Midnight" from Sondheim's "Into The Woods". So far so average, I know what I'm looking for.....
Now comes the problem. There is a book of vocal selections from "Into The Woods" but "The Last Midnight" isn't in it
It is, of course, in the vocal score. But as that costs £70
I haven't been able to find an anthology that includes it, or a library within c.100 mile radius of here that has a copy of the vocal score that I could borrow.....
So am I stumped.....or does someone here have another idea to try......?
