SO, whats the highest mark you've ever heard of that's not on these forums (because some people said that some people got 150!

how can it be possible to get 150???????????!!!!!!!!!!!
i think it's impossible, music is like essay, no full mark can be given to any essay, even though it's interesting and all the grammar r correct!!!
realy impossible, i dun think there will be any 150 marks in this world, maybe even the composer who composed the pieces can't get full mark too.

The Highest mark i have got in an exam has been 142.....not seen any higher than that.

I don't think it is possible to get 150...there is usually always something that you can improve on.

I think if you were a professional pianist taking grade 1 then 150 would be possible...
In fact, I think if you were a professional pianist taking grade 8 then 150 would be likely

...but professional pianists are quite rare

my brother's cello teacher got 148 when she did her grade 8

My friend's piano teacher got full marks for grade 5 theory.

I think somebody on this forum might have said that somebody got 150, but I can't remember where.

oh for theory, it IS possible, but it's also only reserved for grade 1 -3 or 4 theory, grade 5's theory, i du think there will be any more 150, since it requires composing music.

Someone had posted similar topic under the general forum...

I only knew people who got Distinction is already considered as a great pianist..
That's maybe because they have the expression of playing a piece of song
without a mistake..

sorry acting dumb here but is 150 the max kinda forgot thought it was like 200 or summat..

yeh my highest is 120 that its the highest i eva herd of ,... the rest is like no instrrument played before yah yah yah..

for thoery its was like 60--- summat for grade 2.. i will have to aim about 100 if that is the highest for thoery if i want to pass lol... scary!
