On a similar vein. Does anyone know what happens next after making an on-line application.
I have become the "applicant" for my daughter for this Nov theory exam. Will I get something in the post soon, or do I have to contact someone (or check the exam entry webpage again) ?
How will I know that she has been accepted for the exam, and any practical details for the day.
Many thanks

You will get a letter confirming details of time and place along with a name sticker to go on the paper on the day. This won't be until 2-3 weeks before the exam so don't panic too soon.
I think you get confirmation that the entry has been received?

My daughter and I received our letter and stickers through the post a couple of days ago. I entered us both for Grade 5 online. Maybe how early they come depends on where you will take the exam.
We also had an email acknowledgment from the Board when I made the online entry.

The letters are obviously going out this week - I entered 5 candidates separately and got 5 letters over 4 days - don't panic yet!

Many thanks everyone.
My daughter's sticker came yesterday. - so now its for real! The centre number has /15 on the end, so I'm guessing that there will be at least 14 other people there. Would that be right?
It seems that I'm more nervous/excited than she is. I wish I could put some urgency into her! Its just 3 weeks away, yet she seems unaware of how much she still has to learn (in my un-musical view).
I'm very proud of her for having a go (she's been learning on her own from the usual books). Just about to start on the past papers, but it's hard to judge her answers, even with the sample answer books. I really hope she makes it.
Anyway, good luck to those doing the exam, and a hug to other mums who have to watch the agony!

a friend of mine said "paper C is the hardest set"
Is that true?
