If Newcastle is Newcastle in the UK it is a really nice place - don't know how good it is for music though

Bristol in the UK is meant to be quite good for music. But music college may be a better option

June--

For USA schools:
Have you thought about Berklee? that's a great music school. Then there's a conservatory in San Francisco if you're thinking about CA.
Some other would be Juilliard and Manhattan School of Music.
It really depends whether you want a conservatory type or universities that have music majors.

Try those schools in Google if you need further info.

Good luck with selecting...don't worry, there are a lot of options cool.gif

Aren't all the unis in Oxford the same one? - I know because I go there - it is a great place but you have to think of nothing but music 24/7 to be accepted for music there (I'm not a music student!)

Yeah go with colleges if u r more of a performer but uni if u are more into theory. Try out Leeds College of music on www.lcm.ac.uk
