Can anyone recommend a good recording of the above? Krystian Zimerman's rendition at the Salzburg Festival last week was incredible (can't find the proper words to describe it!) but he hasn't recorded it (as far as I know).

Don't know about any recordings, I'm afraid. Just saying that I heard the piece in his London recital back in May and WOW!

Thanks for the replies, I'll get hold of a copy of the Roscoe recording. Zimerman's recital was the first time I've knowingly listened to any Szymanowski, and what an introduction it was! I've since listened to his Etude Op.4 No.3 (mentioned in another thread) and have decided I need to get to hear more of his work.
