I'm learning this at the moment but am having some issues beacuse I have fairly small hands.

I wanted some advice really on what to do about some of the big chords, particularly in b.19 and 20. Can I spread them?

Thanks

Well you've taken on a monster challenge there! But by the time you've mastered it (especially that final Presto) you'll be a formidable pianist - if you are not one already.

As for the big chords in the Marche Funebre. The first one in b.19 is actually marked as arpeggiated in my copy, and as the chord 2 beats later is just as big I guess you have no choice but to arpeggiate that too (or miss out a note - whichever sounds better).

If you can't stretch the RH chords in bar 20, an alternative is to take the Gb with the LH thumb, and make the Ab-Bb trill with 4 and 3 in the LH

thanks, Im only learning the funeral march right now, one day I would love to learn the rest but I'm not good enough at the moment.

I'll try spreading the chords, some are marked as spread, but others weren't so I wasn't sure what to dp.

Thanks again
