I got my grade 5 piano results on Friday whilst on holiday.

I got 131!!!

My first distinction, so I'm happy to have got one now

I don't know my breakdown of marks yet, but I'll post once I do.

I think the piano is definately one of the hardest instruments to play, but definately worth it, a symphony at your fingertips!!! You should be very proud of yourself, well done!

p.s I've updated my score in the ABUCAC/ABFORA league tables post (general music forum) when you have time to check (I think I may have squeezed up a place in the table!).

Got my mark sheet and certificate today. My breakdown of marks are as follows:

A2: 27
B1: 27
C5: 29
Scales: 19
SR = 18
Aurals = 11

I also got an additional comment saying, "Congratulations, especially for maintaining your concentration during the storm"
