Sorry to be dim, but this is the first time I've tried the Hill E...is the little black rubber thing in the bag a bridge protector, and if so how do I put it on? I'm used to the little plastic tubes that come with dominants! blush.gif
Thanks.

If you have a good quality bridge, you probably won't need it.

Check to see if there's a bit of parchment or a sliver of ebony set into your bridge by the e string end. If there is, you can throw away the protector - it's probably more likely to dull the sound than anything else.

If it's a tiny black rubber tube, you'll need to slip it onto the string and position it over the bridge. They're supposed to stop the string cutting into the bridge's wood. It's not crucial, though.
