I have just done my grade 6 cello and want to start on the grade 7 syllabus. However I have my lessons in shool and so won't be having any lessons now until september. Would you be able to suggest any pieces to do from the syllabus.
From list b i like both the Tarantella (Squire) and Vocalise (Rachmaninov), i would chose Vocalise but i do not know if it is Tenor clef which i do not get along with very well. lol.
Any help would be great.

First thought that comes to mind: if you are a Grade 6+ cellist and still struggling with the tenor clef it is worth making the effort to get more to grips with it. So play lots of pieces in tenor clef, better still, pieces that alternate between bass and tenor (and treble). It is the only way to learn, and it will make your life a lot easier in the long run.
Can't recommend pieces, as I don't know which ones would have lots of tenor clef in for you to choose or avoid, being a 'mere' grade 5 myself. The largo from Chopin's sonata is beautiful, does start off in treble clef though.
Be aware the syllabus will change next year.
Good luck.

You could always get hold of the
CD recordings of the G7 syllabus - see what pieces you like the sound of. If it then turns out to have tenor clef in it, well if you are playing something you like, you may find it helps you get to grips with the alien clef(s)
