I started GCSE Music in September and one of our homeworks is to think of a song/piece that we like and can arrange for a different instrument(s) to use for compostition and I'm really not sure what to do. I mean, I have a few ideas but I'm not really sure what to do with them or how I can make them work. Any advice would be much appreciated!!

first of all you'll need to have some pieces in mind! and then figure out which instruments you are going to use instead. what are your ideas?

You have to do arranging for GCSE music? Wish I could. I though that only came up in AS Music Tech. Bohemian Rhapsody all the way!

You don't HAVE to do arranging but you can if you like, as part of the Composition paper.

Well, my teacher is making us do an arrangement that will count as a composition. How did you all get on with it??
