Just wondering when theory results are expected - I don't want to waste time keeping checking!

Any ideas when approximately they are expected?

if my certificate doesnt arrive before 5 weeks after the exam, (saturday 19th) i wont get to see it, as im in america from the 20th july - 23rd august

Apparently though it doesnt show the actualy result on the certificate?
it just says

Hello_cello has passed Grade 1 theory, on June 14th 2008, as presented for examination by Mr Hello_Cello?

will proabably say:

hello_cello
was examined in
grade 1 theory
beginner(?) level in music literacy
and passed (with merit/dist)
in the summer term 2008

My friend was talking utter drivel... makes a change...

If Mr Cello entered you online, he should be able to see the results as a figure eg 98% (see, I'm being optimistic for you!) and may even get the breakdown that is available on the marksheet - I know that for practical exams you get A piece 27, B piece 25, etc, but can't see the comments online, you have to wait for the marksheet.

As there aren't comments as such for Theory exams, maybe the breakdown itself is available, eg My g5 marksheet (Nov 2006) says Q1 Adding time signatures, adding bar-lines and describing chords Maximum Mark 15 Mark Awarded 15 and so on for each question.

I didn't enter myself for that exam so don't know if that level of detail is online, it may well be.

I think it's just the mark for theory exams.

No, not yet - and yes, after I read this post I did just go and check!!

Thing is, it is only four weeks on this coming Saturday. The last results I got took four weeks, and of course the expectation with theory is that it takes six weeks (and I believe I've heard that June tends to be the busiest exam period, i.e. takes longer to mark).

So Monday is the very very earliest I would expect to hear, i.e. at the four weeks mark. Realistically, it might not be until the end of July though...

D'OH! I feel really silly - I must have counted wrong - I was absolutely convinced it had been 4 weeks already - I just recounted and feel very very silly!
