I wanna buy the grade 6-8 but not sure if they are useful or not.

Already got the earlier ones (with answer), have not finished them all.

Please give me some opinion.

The updated Music Theory In Practice books for G6-8 are unchanged in content - it's just new covers according to this: http://www.abrsmpublishing.com/publications/446/news

For grades 6-8 the newer Theory workbook covers the syllabus from 1999 (I Think) when there were changes mainly to the presentation of the questions and to the length of answers.

Would anybody at ABRSM like to comment on continued sale of the older style Music Theory in Practice for these grades please? It's been discussed on here several times.

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I have no idea why they bothered to put new covers on the Grade 6-8 MTiP books without updating it. It's barely even relevant to the exams now; the Theory workbooks are so much better. I can't see the point of having the two available. Putting new covers on it makes it look relevant to the syllabus when half of it isn't.

I've 'Asked the Chief Examiner' but it is in the batch since her last answers, I'm afraid...
