Hi everyone, i just had the day of my life! I checked the parcel tracking various times during the day, and i checked it again at about 18:00hrs. I thought, "as usual, not yet there" but it said it was at the post office! So then i thought, the post office is closed by now. But then i phoned, just in case... you know. Someone answered, i made my questions and i was told that it was to be delivered tomorrow morning but tomorrow morning there would have been nobody to answer the door, so i would have to pick up the notice from the letterbox and go pick it up myself. There was no other option. Then i phoned again asking whether they could phone me up before they leave the premises but i was told it was not possible. Then the good soul that was on the phone told me to hold the line, she asked her superior if a client 'needing' the packet urgently could just drop by and pick it up, and he said YES!! So i grabbed the phone and called my husband, told him to return home asap so that we go pick the violin up. I was so thrilled i couldn't stop moving around, i almost got dizzy! We went and found the building right away and there it was, i signed the papers and i was holding my violin + package tightly comfortabe for the first time!
Went home and asked my teacher if he could tune it and he said YES! So off to the car again and my teacher was quite impressed with the loud sound it produces. However, strangely enough he said that it is slightly smaller than his but i think every maker/factory has his own designs and measurements. But what's important, i'm thrilled and HAPPY
and totally in love with the sound
. if just the genial 1 has so much of a sound, i wonder what sound does a gliga maestro have! so everyone, thanks for keeping me company in my other thread, i'm now relieved and happy. I hope i can sleep tonight!!!!!!
Then when i woke up in the morning i just said good morning and gave it a stroke (sort of to see if it's real) then back to prepare to go to work! I think i'm getting nuts.
