I know it's officially up to 6 weeks until we get our theory results.....in practice how long have people had to wait in the past? Does it often go the full 6 weeks?
I have just done my first theory exam and am impatiently waiting on the result!

Quite often it is a 6 week wait, although I've seen results arrive within 4 weeks!

If I remember rightly last June I received mine in 5 weeks but November was 6 weeks and February was 5 weeks. Whats been now 2 weeks? Feels kind of strange for me this time not waiting for them to arrive as I didn't do an exam this term. I am working towards Grade 6 and the rate I am going I will be lucky if I am ready for November.

As a pretty much self-taught grade 5-er, I'd be delighted with a merit. The composition I just didn't have a notion in spite of very helpful posts on here, I just had no confidence in what I was writing. Really enjoyed the experience though except the composition bit - shame it's worth so many marks!!!

Last time they started being released at about 4 weeks. But, it appears they release them in alphabetical order by centre code, or at least they did in February.
I'm lucky as my centre's code starts with a B, so I got my results at 4 weeks in February. I hope they come early again cos I'm on holiday from Week 6 to Week 7

My centre starts with a Y!!!! and last time it took 6 weeks....

And start practice violin more to take my mind of the waiting :-)
in feb, it was 5 weeks for everyones except mine which was 7 weeks, but that was grade 8 so might have taken longer to mark.

I think that grade 5 generally takes longer to mark because that is the grade with the most candidates.
Grade 8 will be one of the quickest.
For me, theory results usually take between 4 and 6 weeks.
