I know that Janexxx has bought from Paul Ayres in Manchester, but does anyone on the forum have any first hand knowledge of his own violins?

Apparently he's not making any more at the moment, because he's got too much repair work going on, but I've heard he has a waiting list for his own handmade violins.

His violins are nice, possibly a bit on the pricey side compared with other makers of similar quality. Dave Slight (sp?) who works at Ayres is making quite actively at the moment I think.
