I'm just listening to Nathan Milstein playing Vitali Chaconne, which I think is probably my ultimate favourite.

I also love the videos of Jekatherina and Alicelizard.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

(don't think we've had a thread like this before - done a quick search - sorry if we have!)

http://youtube.com/watch?v=SqA63tFqPN0 for foot tapping, albeit slow, fabulous rhythmic fiddle playing by Saint Elizabeth of the burning fiddle.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=MfbmeOmQ77I for a cracking version of the musical priest by Frankie Gavin - lots of drones, fast trebles and a wicked danceable rhythm.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=muS2GEeJ3x4 for a lovely set of smooth jigs

http://youtube.com/watch?v=CVWF-l5nnHw just lovely.

Ah, trad played well, you can't beat it.

Any version of Paganini's Moto Perpetuo does it for me. Or just put Paganini in the search box - and fasten your seatbelt!
