that sounds like someone trying to say what can i teach myself, but yeh anyway...

Im Grade 1/2 im probably about 3/4 of the way to grade 2.
I want some things that i can play myself that arent stupidly easy and rubbish, i have the piano time classics, so things about that standard are good. i can play bits of last years grade one book, but not great - thats without a teacher.

Thanks smile.gif
oh yeh, and probably not expensive books. i also have the really easy jazzin about and each myself stuff from there.

I just mainly want to widen /increase my repetoire.

"A Romantic Sketchbook for Piano" by the AB is quite nice.

"Hours With The Masters" book 1 has a good range of music and there's plenty to keep you going.

There are plenty of stupidly easy pieces that aren't rubbish laugh.gif

The standard of piece doesn't matter if it sounds good and is played well smile.gif

why not just get the grade books?

they normally pick good pieces that expand your repetoire, plus with the three different sections you've got it from different periods as well, so different styles. plus they're not that expensive.
