I was searching for info on this piece, someone here mentioned that its a grade 3 choice piece? I didn't see it on the syllabus, did I miss something? Do they let you pick this piece even though it wasn't on the syllabus?

If so, how much do you play? The entire first movement? Thats alot longer than the regular grade 3 pieces, am I mistaken?

It's on the Trinity Guildhall grade 3 syllabus (which is why you didn't find it on the AB syllabus, I guess). And it's only the second movement - the Andante.

It was one of the alternative AB pieces for grade 3 (or at least the first movement was) when I was considering taking G3 - that must have been in 2004... I reckon. Definitely AB though.

can someone PLs tell me if the entire piece ( 1st movement) was used?also, where in the syllabus can you see the option for alternate pieces?

The entire piece wasn't used - just the first movement (allegro moderato, if my memory serves me correctly). In the syllabus the alternative pieces are listed right alongside the normal ones - however if you have the books, you usually see them at the bottom of the front inside page.
