About 2 weeks ago I put in an online entry for a grade 2 theory exam in this next session.
I got back the confirmation email and I know the exam is 27th February but do not know any details yet as to exact time, venue etc.

Will the board send me a letter confirming these details or is there something I've missed?

This will be my first ever exam so please forgive my ignorance.

You'll get a letter giving details of the time and place of your exam (and hopefully a map too). And a label to take with you to put on the top of your paper.

The exam is on Wednesday 27th February at 5pm. You'll get sent the venue and appointment slip nearer the time.

I'd already got the time and date, it was the venue I was wondering about but now I know how the system works I can stop worrying.

If you get in touch with the HLR they will be able to tell you the venue if you'd prefer to know sooner.
