One of my work colleagues has a son studying Grade 8 piano, and has done Grade 6 VIolin, but his teacher suggested he try viola for a while instead of violin. He has a school instrument, but his Mum wantt to get him his own as a Christmas present. Wheres the best place to start looking. They live in West Yorkshire.

They could do far worse than try Elidatrading. See the profile of the Forums member of the same name for details

I got my complete outfit from Scheerers in central Leeds. They have a good and helpful team there too. When I'm worth listening to, I'll get a lovely Gliga from Elida.

If they can get over to the Yorkshire Coast (although that might not be possible, I know), Beverley Music Centre is meant to be very good.

It is! We went there to get Bobifier kitted out with viola matters!
