Hi everyone smile.gif ,

I have the new Grade 4 2008-2011 violin book but it doesn't have the list of the scales and arpeggios at the back like the old books had sad.gif Does anyone have a copy and could scan it and send it to me please? I could just get the information off the syllabus but it was really handy to have the chart that you could put a tick when you knew it tongue.gif

Hope someone can help me biggrin.gif

click on the grade 4 violin 2008-2011 and you can open it then print it, then you'll have your piece of paper to tick off smile.gif (or you could create your own chart with excel? I know I am mad enough to do things like that laugh.gif )

Hi Have you decided on what pieces you are going to do? I'm also doing grade 4. The peices that I'm looking at are A1 English Dance, B3 Allegro (I havn't started this peice yet) and C3 La cupparsita. Having said that I have ordered the Joplin Ragtime favorites as I might do Chryanthemum C5.

The Joplin Ragtime favorites sounds like a nice book, we'll look at it when I go to Chappel's next weed smile.gif (I am only at grade 3 at the moment though, but for 'prospective pieces' next year.....)

Sorry I took so long to reply! I'm just finishing off on Grade 3 work and so I havn't actually bought the Grade 4 book yet but I wanted to learn the scales so I have a head start biggrin.gif Good luck with your Grade 4 pieces!
